Family Work Doesn't Always Mean Everyone Has to Be in the Room

Sometimes the most meaningful family work begins with one person.

You may be trying to understand your relationship with a parent, navigate changing dynamics with an adult child, establish boundaries with siblings, heal from longstanding family patterns, or figure out how to remain connected to people you love without losing yourself in the process.

Because I approach therapy through a family-systems lens, we can work with these relationships even when the other people involved aren't participating in therapy. Together, we'll explore the patterns, roles, expectations, histories, and relationships that have shaped your family—and identify where you have the power to create something different.

The goal isn't necessarily to change your family. It's to help you understand your place within the system and make intentional choices about how you want to relate to it.
